Pearl Valley Golf

The "Garden Route"  is a 300 km stretch from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to The Storms River in Eastern Cape. The name comes from the verdant and ecologically diverse vegetation encountered here and the number of lagoons and lakes dotted along the coast. Eastern Cape

Eastern Cape lies on the south coast of South africa and it shares internal boundaries with four other provinces as well as a border with three districts in the land locked country and enclave of Lesotho. The conurbations around the coastal cities of Port Elisabeth and East London are where many of the seven million people in the province have gravitated.

Cape Winelands

The Cape winelands stretch from the rugged mountains and multi-directional slopes of the coastal region to the open plains of the Klein Karoo where viticulture takes place mainly in the riverine valleys. South Africa's vineyards are mostly situated in the Western Cape near the coast. Rainfall on the coastal side, where fynbos and renosterveld vegetation flourish, measures up to 1 000mm per year. Travel over the mountains into the hinterland and the rainfall decreases dramatically with the vegetation dominated by hardy succulents, cycads and aloes.

Kwazulu-Natal occupies an area of around 36.000 square miles and it lies to the east of South Africa, Durban the largest provincial city and busiest port in the country is also a well-developed tourist centre that markets its sub-tropical climate and long, sandy beachfront to potential visitors.

There are 91 golf clubs spread throughout the five districts of Zululand, Northern Natal, Midlands,North Coast and Southern Natal. 

The best course in the Province are Durban Country Club established in 1922.
