Bro Hof Golf
Ranked as No.15 in Continental Europe
The Stadium Course
has been ranked #1 in Sweden since opening in 2007
In 2012 the Stadium Course came of age when Lee Westwood conquered the Nordea Masters.
But more significant for Bro Hof was the recognition gained amongst the Tour’s stars who spoke passionately about the course and the fine level of detail put into creating a world class club.
From the clubhouse you look out over The Stadium Course. With long holes, large greens, considerable water, large and well-placed bunkers, not to mention the gusting winds, the Stadium Course is a unique challenge.
The Course acts as a ”lakeside path” around Lake Mälaren and suits all categories of golfers with a range of tees.
From the yellow and red tees the course is alluring and welcoming and invites attacking golf, but from the white tees a more demanding and trying experience awaits.
From the black tees, reserved for competitions and professionals, the course measures a breathtaking 8,056 yards.
The Castle Course
The natural environment contrasts that of the Stadium Course as there is less wind and water, but more trees, smaller and tougher bunkers and narrower fairways.
The Castle Course doesn’t feature black tees and is therefore a shorter test than its sister course.
In 2012, in-line with a vision for perfection and world class golf, the Castle Course underwent development to increase the standard further.
In its short life the course has begun to develop a very unique character; the run-off areas and rough have matured and are reminiscent of links courses you’d usually find on the east coast of Scotland.
And although none of the holes run along the shores of Lake Mälaren, there are emerald green playing surfaces and roughs of golden fescue to evoke the senses and compliment the beauty of the stunning landscape.
The Castle Course was also designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr. and opened in the summer of 2010.
Designed to inherit the same quality as the Stadium Course but offer a very different challenge, the course evokes elements of a Scottish links.
